Ginetta Junior Scholarship finalist Zak Taylor will make his car racing debut at Thruxton this weekend.
Taylor, who is currently competing in the British Kart Championship, is set to join the grid for three of the four remaining rounds of the 2019 Ginetta Junior season.
The 16-year-old was originally announced as part of In2Racing’s line-up ahead of the opening race of the season, and tested with the team at a number of events.
In May, he announced he would switch to Alastair Rushford Motorsport, who had been helping run the car in previous tests.
Taylor is the second driver to join the Alastair Rushford Motorsport outfit, joining Roman Bilinski, who also raced for In2Racing early in the season.
