Bailey Voisin and R Racing topped the times at the Ginetta championship launch day.
The 2020 Ginetta Junior championship won’t begin until May at the earliest but the launch day for multiple Ginetta championships ran as planned on Thursday.
Voisin topped all four sessions, ending the day with a 1m10.181s lap time around the Silevrstone national track.
Team-mates Joel Pearson, Freddie Tomlinson and Josh Rattican ended the day second, third, and fourth quiest, ahead of fastest rookie Georgie Dimitrov.
Scholarship winner Tom Lebbon topped the order a number of times over the course fo the day, finishing session two second quickest and 0.177s behind Voisin.
He ended the day sixth overall and second quickest rookie, ahead of Aston Millar and Zak Taylor.
Josh Millar and Tom Edgar completed the top 10.
Privateer Will Jenkins was the only driver to set his quickest time in the third test session, as improving track conditions allowed most of the field to find improvements later in the day. He finished the test 11th in the overall classification ,just ahead of Seb Hopkins and William Rochford.
William Aspin, William Vincent and Fox Motorsport driver Liam McNeilly completed the order.
