TOCA has announced two changes to the 2021 British Touring Car Championship calendar in an effort to enable fans at as many races as possible.
Being on the support bill, the second and third rounds of the 2021 Gintta Junior championship will be impacted.
The season opener will go ahead as planned at the start of May, but the already rearranged Snetterton and Brands Hatch Indy events have been pushed back until June.
The hope is that government restrictions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 will have been substantially lifted by this point and spectators will be able to attend.
The rest of the calendar remains unchanged, as the summer break had been scheduled to begun after the Brands event. This break has been reduced to a little over a month, with action resuming again at the end of July for the Oulton Park weekend.
The Ginetta series is still set to support the BTCC at nine of its 10 rounds this season, ending at Brands Hatch on October 24th.
