Robert de Haan takes his second win of the season in a close fought Ginetta Junior race at Thruxton.
The Richardson Racing driver spent the majority of the race running alongside another driver, as Callum Voisin, Seb Hopkins, and Aston Millar all tried to deny him the victory.
By the end of the race, de Haan had managed to build a small gap to finish 1.5s ahead of the rest of the field.
It was Voisin on pole for the final race of the weekend. A safety car was brought out before there could be much change at the front of the order, after Maurice Henry and Harri Reynolds span at the back of the field.
On the restart, Hopkins briefly took the race lead, but a storming de Haan came through to move into the top spot.
De Haan, Hopkins and Voisin briefly broke away from the chasing pack, but fighting between the trio allowed Millar and Josh Rowledge to close onto the back of the leaders.
Second through to fourth changed hands multiple times but, although drivers were able to get alongside de Haan, he managed to stay at the front of the order.
As they fought, he escaped down the road, leaving the battle for second behind.
Hopkins led that battle in the closing stages of the race, but was passed late on by Voisin, who brought team-mate Millar with him.
Voisin would come home P2, but contact between Rowledge and Millar dropped the second R Racing driver backwards.
Hopkins claimed third ahead of Joe Wheeler, who had closed onto the back of the leaders on the final la. Millar took fifth while Rowledge dropped to the back of the field.
Will Jenkins led a multi-car battle for sixth eventually coming out on top ahead of Josh Miller and Liam McNeilly. McNeilly had been running in the lead fight early in the race, but fell backwards after he dipped two wheels onto the grass. He finished just ahead of Joe Warhurst and Freddie Tomlinson.
