Kanto Le has been awarded his maiden Ginetta Junior victory after a penalty for race one winner Josh Rowledge.
Rowledge picked up a dominant victory in the opening race of the weekend at Brands Hatch after his closest rivals on track collided with one another and dropped down the order.
Le managed to avoid the drama ahead of him and climbed up sixth on the grid to finish second.
But Rowledge’s early race hadn’t been clear of trouble, and the R Racing driver had made contact with Joe Warhurst.
Post race, stewards deemed Rowledge at fault for the contact and dropped Rowledge behind Warhurst in the final results.
Le was promoted to the race victory, ahead of Will Macintyre and Warhurst.
