Entries for the 2023 Ginetta Junior Scholarship shoot-out are now open.
The Scholarship has funded drivers making their debut in car racing since 2011, when Sennan Fielding won the award. Since then, 13 young drivers have graduated to car racing through the scheme.
This year’s scholar, Alisha Palmowski, took a rookie podium in her first weekend in the championship.
The 2023 scholar will be awarded a prize package that includes all entry fees for the 2023 Ginetta Junior championship, the use of a G40 Junior car for the whole season, and preparation from an experienced team.
Consumables and a Ginetta race suit are also included.
The contest to decide the 2023 scholar will be held at Blyton Park from October 25th to October 27th. Young drivers wishing to enter will take part in one of two assessment days. The 20 most promising drivers will then be invited back for a third day. Driving abilities, physical fitness, and media capabilities will all be assessed.
Young drivers born between 1/1/2007 and 20/4/2009 who have not competed in a circuit car race are eligible to compete.
