Kasperczak leaves In2Racing

Ben Kasperczak will not race with In2Racing for the remainder of the 2019 Ginetta Junior Championship.

Kasperczak announced on Facebook he had made the decision to leave the team which he raced with at the first three rounds of the championship.

“I would like to say a big thanks to everyone at In2 for making the start of this incredible journey possible at such late notice,” he said. “I wish you all the best in the future.”

Kasperczak announced he would be racing Ginettas less than a week before the first round of the season at Brands Hatch.

With no previous experience in rear wheel drive cars, the Junior Saloon Car Championship race winner faced a steep learning curve, but has so far managed to take two points finishes, including an 11th place at Donington Park.

Kasperczak has confirmed he will be racing at Croft, but hasn’t decided if he will continue as an independent or join another team for the remainder of the season.

He will be the second driver to have parted ways with In2Racing so far this season as Roman Bilinski announced before Thruxton he would be competing as a privateer after two rounds with the team.
